Corrections Log

PowerToolBench publishes every correction it makes. This is a load-bearing trust commitment: we believe public correction logs are how editorial sites earn — and keep — credibility. If we change a number on this site for any reason other than the manufacturer changing the number, the change shows up here.

How corrections work

When we receive an error report (or catch one ourselves):

  1. Acknowledge within 1 business day at the inbox the report came to
  2. Verify the correct value against the primary source (manufacturer documentation, retailer page, or compatibility chart)
  3. Update the affected page within 14 days, with a new “Last verified” date
  4. Log the correction here — date, page, what was wrong, what’s now correct, source

Major errors (factually misleading buying advice, incorrect compatibility claims that could damage equipment, or anything that could cause a reader to make a wrong purchase) are flagged inline at the top of the affected page for 30 days after the correction.
